About this site
I built this because I kept opening a new tab, finding some sketchy single-purpose site to convert a PDF or run one calculation, and closing it five minutes later. Every tool was on a different site, half of them behind a sign-up wall, all of them covered in popups. None of these jobs are actually hard. They're small bits of code that any browser can run.
So I started building them, one by one, and put them all here. New ones get added when I run into a problem I want a tool for, or when someone requests one that other people would use too.
How it works
Everything is free. There is no account, no paid tier, no email list. Files and text you type stay in your browser, the work happens on your device. The one exception is the PDF to Word converter, which has to do the conversion on a server because doing it in the browser would be very slow. Files there are deleted as soon as the conversion finishes.
The site works offline once the page has loaded. Nothing here calls a paid API or depends on a third-party service that might disappear next year. If a tool stops working, it's because I broke it, and you can tell me about it.

Requesting new tools
If a tool you want isn't here, you can request it. I read every request. The ones I add solve a real, named problem, take under ten seconds to use, and are the kind of thing I'd open myself. A surprising amount of what's on this site started as a request from someone else.
