Will trimming reduce audio quality?+

Trimming itself is lossless — we just keep the samples between your markers. Encoding to MP3 introduces compression; encoding to WAV does not.

What's the longest file I can trim?+

Limited by your browser's memory. Files up to about 30 minutes work reliably; longer files may slow down the page.
