FAQ
Should I tip on the pre-tax or post-tax total?+
Etiquette varies. In the US, most people tip on the post-tax total in casual settings. Tipping on pre-tax is technically more correct and what etiquette guides recommend. The calculator lets you pick.
How does uneven mode handle shared items?+
Mark an item as shared and select who shared it. The cost is split equally among the marked people. Tax and tip are then proportionally distributed across each person's subtotal.
