FAQ
Why three formulas?+
DuBois (1916) is the historical standard. Mosteller (1987) is simpler and what most clinicians use. Haycock (1978) is preferred in pediatrics. Differences are usually under a couple percent.
Should I use this for medical dosing?+
No. This is informational. Real medical dosing uses verified clinical tools and is reviewed by a pharmacist or prescriber.
