Why is my BPM bouncing around?+

It needs a few taps to settle. Tap consistently on the kick or snare for at least 8 beats. The stability indicator turns green when the variance is low.

What's a typical BPM range?+

Hip-hop sits around 70–100. House is 120–130. Drum and bass hits 160–180. Most pop is 100–130.
