FAQ

Does it mix in RGB or another space?+

RGB by default. Toggle to OKLCH for perceptually-uniform mixing, which avoids the muddy middle that RGB blends often have.

Why does mixing red and green make brown?+

Additive RGB mixing of red and green light makes yellow. But mixing pixel colors interpolates through low-saturation values, which read as brown. OKLCH handles this better.
