About
Type a number in any of the four bases and the others update live. Negative numbers are shown in two's complement (8, 16, 32, or 64 bit). Useful for low-level debugging and bit manipulation.
How to use
- Type in any of the four base fields.
- The other three update live.
- Switch bit width if needed.
FAQ
Why does -1 in 8-bit show as 11111111?+
That's two's complement. To represent -1, you flip the bits of 1 (00000001) and add 1, giving 11111111. It's how nearly all modern CPUs encode signed integers.
