About

Type a number in any of the four bases and the others update live. Negative numbers are shown in two's complement (8, 16, 32, or 64 bit). Useful for low-level debugging and bit manipulation.

How to use

  1. Type in any of the four base fields.
  2. The other three update live.
  3. Switch bit width if needed.

FAQ

Why does -1 in 8-bit show as 11111111?+

That's two's complement. To represent -1, you flip the bits of 1 (00000001) and add 1, giving 11111111. It's how nearly all modern CPUs encode signed integers.
