How much salt is too much?+
1% of the water by weight (10g per liter) tastes like the sea and seasons the pasta perfectly. The pasta absorbs only a small fraction.
Should I add oil to the water?+
No. It coats the pasta and stops the sauce from sticking later. Stir often instead.
