FAQ
How do I keep file size down?+
Lower the width (480px is plenty for most uses), drop the frame rate to 12–15 fps, and keep clips under 10 seconds. GIFs balloon fast.
Will it look as good as the source video?+
GIFs are limited to 256 colors per frame, so gradients and skin tones can look posterized. For high-quality looping clips use WebM or MP4 instead.
