How is reading time calculated?+
We use 250 words per minute, which is the average silent reading rate for an adult. Skim reading is faster (~400 wpm); careful reading is slower (~150 wpm).
How is speaking time calculated?+
We use 130 words per minute, which matches a typical conversational speaking pace. A practiced speaker can hit 150–160 wpm; a slow, deliberate keynote pace is closer to 100.
Does this work offline?+
